Warranty Policy

At tappd, we build products designed to last.

Every tappd card includes a warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

Warranty periods vary by product:

  • Plastic Cards – 1-Year Warranty
  • Wood Cards – 2-Year Warranty
  • Metal Cards – Lifetime Warranty

What Is Covered?

This warranty covers:

  • NFC chip failure during normal use
  • Manufacturing defects
  • Material defects
  • Physical breakage resulting from normal intended use
  • Faults that prevent the card from functioning as intended

If a covered fault occurs during the applicable warranty period, we may repair or replace the product at our discretion.

What Is Not Covered?

This warranty does not cover:

  • Loss or theft
  • Cosmetic wear and tear
  • Scratches, dents or scuffs from normal use
  • Deliberate damage
  • Misuse or abuse
  • Damage caused by accidents
  • Damage caused by exposure to extreme conditions
  • Unauthorised modifications

Wood is a natural material and may display natural variations in grain, colour and texture. These characteristics are not defects.

Replacement Products

Where a warranty claim is approved:

  • We may repair the product where appropriate.
  • We may replace the product with the same product.
  • If the original product is no longer available, we may provide a comparable replacement.

Replacement products do not entitle the customer to cash alternatives.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights you may have by law.
